Sonogno is a municipality in the district of Locarno in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland. It is located in Valle Verzasca and has a population of 91 in 2014. The local economy was based mostly on dairy farming.

The parish church of Sonogno, dedicated to the Madonna of Loreto, was built between 1852 and 1854, as replacement for the old church dated before 1400, of which very little is known.
