The MS Stadt Innsbruck was built by the ÖSWAG shipyard in Linz and was put into service on August 11, 2007. (Length: 45.60 m, Width: 9.20 m, Total capacity: 470 people, Speed: ca. 24 km/h)

Lake Achen (Achensee) is a lake north of Jenbach in Tyrol, Austria. It is the largest lake within the federal state, and has a maximal depth of 133 metres. (Maximal length: 9.4 km, maximal width: 1 km, surface area: 6.8 km²)

Pertisau village, just around the middle of the Achen lake, came into view.

Pertisau is a little village with a population of 460, surrounded by meadows, but elegant lodging and hotels lined up, it has become a nice resort today.

Gaisalm is a summer pastureland, which is accessible only on foot or by boat.

Gone by a yacht harbor, there was a pier called Achenseehof. Few customers were getting on and off.

Achenkirch Map

Achenkirch is a municipality with 2182 inhabitants (2016) in the Schwaz district in the Austrian state of Tyrol. It is located at the northern end of Lake Achensee.

I arrived in the village center of Achenkirch and took some photos in the rain.

It would be time to say “Wiedersehen” to the village of Achenkirch.

I took a ship by a Scholastika pier and went to Seespitz.

I took a ship by a Scholastika pier and went back to Seespitz.

Since it was raining, the children did not go out to the outside. The ship was close to Seespitz.

Arrived at Seespitz Street, took Achensee Railway again and went back to Jenbach.

It was raining and a little cold on that day, so I was not able to take clean photographs. I caught a cold back to Innsbruck.
