Eminönü is a district of Istanbul, located on Istanbul’s historical peninsula. This is the heart of the walled city of Constantine, the focus of a history of incredible richness.
We went to the restaurant in Eminönü Area (Historic Center of Istanbul) from Bosporus Bridge.
After taking a rest a little in the hotel, we decided to go for a walk to the grand bazaar.
The construction of Atik Ali Pasha Mosque was started under the orders of the Grand Vizier Hadım Atik Ali Pasha in 1496 and was completed in 1497. The mosque is located near the entrance to the Kapalıçarşı (Grand Bazaar), the Column of Constantine, and the historical Nuruosmaniye Mosque.
Column of Constantine is a Roman monumental column constructed on the orders of the Roman emperor Constantine the Great in 330 AD. Nuruosmaniye Mosque is considered one of the finest examples of mosques in Ottoman Baroque style.
Well, let’s go back to the hotel for evening meal.
This night scenery took me out to a night walk.
