Doğubayazıt is a city and district of Ağrı Province. It is Turkey’s most eastern district, bordering Iran, and its elevation is 1625m. The climate on the plain is hot and dry in summer, cold and dry in winter.
Doğubayazıt’s population in 2010 was 115,354 of which 69,447 live in the town of Doğubeyazıt, the remainder in the surrounding countryside.
The main industry is sheep breeding, and the area began producing Sulphur, starting in 1920. (Sulfur is raw materials such as gunpowder, match, medicine.)
After the rest in the souvenir shop, we went to Ishak Pasha Palace.
