I made friends with the Armenian family, who were going on pilgrimage to the Holy Cross Church on Akdamar Island.
You should read this description plate than my explanation.
The Cathedral of the Holy Cross on Akdamar Island, in Lake Van, is a medieval Armenian Apostolic (Armenian Orthodox Church) Cathedral, built as a palatine church for the kings of Vaspurakan and later serving as the seat of the Catholicosate of Aghtamar.
Left the Holy Cross Cathedral and walked up to a hill behind the church.
We were watching this landscape for a while. Then, we went down the hill, got aboard the ferry and headed to the opposite shore.
I did not see them richly, but they looked happy. They had been so well content. “Have a safe and nice trip to the hometown. Hրաժեշտ (Goodbye).”
