The stone walls of the houses are really beautiful.

The houses are built from the local Ticino granite with slate roofs and have changed little for several hundred years.

Roofs! Don't you think they are splendid?

On the way back I met an elderly person.

He was the only local people I met in this village. I said hello to him. He greeted me with a smile. He said that he has been to Japan some years ago, so we talked a little. I noticed the photograph of his wife was put on the wall. “Arrivederci Amico!” “Sayonara, take care, have a nice trip!” He replied. Hope that his rest of life will be peaceful.

A small shrine on the path, the villagers seem to be religious.
