Riego de Ambrós is a very small town on the Camino de Santiago in the province of León. It has a population of 42 in the 2011.

Ermita de Nuestra, Señora de las Angustias (Chapel of Our Lady, Lady of Sorrows) already existed in the eleventh century. The present sanctuary was rebuilt after a fire in 1705.

Molinaseca Bridge over the Rio Meruelo was built in the twelfth century for the pilgrims, and Iglesia de San Nicolás was built in stonework in the seventeenth century, dedicated to Bishop St. Nicholas of Bari (270 – 343).

Molinaseca is a village and municipality located in the region of El Bierzo, province of León. According to the 2010 census, the municipality has a population of 818 inhabitants.

Ponferrada is the capital city of El Bierzo in the Province of León. It has a population of 69,769 in 2008.
