Puente de Itero (Puente de Fitero) is a bridge on the Camino de Santiago. It spans the River Pisuerga and connects the provinces of Burgos and Palencia the Autonomous Community of Castile and León.

The bridge was built on the order of Alfonso VI 11th century after the Battle of Lantadilla (1068).

Itero de la Vega is a municipality located in the province of Palencia and Castile Leon. According to the 2004 census, the municipality has a population of 215 inhabitants.

After the Albergue I was wandering around the town of Itero de la Vega for a little while.

Built in 1529, El Rollo de la Justicia (The Roll of Justice) was declared a historic monument in 1966. It is located in the plaza mayor where pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago arrive and leave daily.
