Leštiny is a village and municipality in Dolný Kubín District in the Žilina Region of northern Slovakia.
Leštiny lies at an altitude of 586 metres and covers an area of 6.939 km². It has a population of about 225 people.

Construction of the wooden Evangelical Church was ordered by Jób Zmeškal and finished in 1688.
Main altar is from the 18th century and the famous Slovak poet Pavol Országh Hviezdoslav was baptised here as well.
The interior dates back to the 17th and 18th century, it is whole beautifully painted.
The wooden Evangelical church with wooden belfry was included, along with seven wooden churches of the Slovak part of Carpathian Mountain Area, on the UNESCO Word Heritage List in 2008.
