Saint-Prex is a municipality in the Swiss canton of Vaud, located in the district of Morges. The town of Saint-Prex has a population of 5,451.
The town was founded with the construction of the chateau in 1234AD. The old town forms a peninsula extending from the north shore of Lake Geneva.
The lovely medieval town of Saint-Prex is recognizable by its famous clock tower.
The tourist information office was in this building, but unfortunately it was closed.
The pretty cityscape which left a traditional atmosphere though it was a little village to be able to go round in no time on foot.
The medieval atmosphere of the old town of Saint-Prex, its streets and its Romanic church make glamorous and attractive the town and give it a very special atmosphere.
I visited this village in the end of September. It is very quiet and beautiful, and locals are friendly.
