Low Wood Bay Hotel Windermere

I stayed at this hotel for two nights.

Low Wood Bay HotelThey say that sitting on the banks of Lake Windermere and looking out to the magnificent Langdale Pikes, the Low Wood Bay Hotel Windermere commands a picturesque and tranquil location ideal for a relaxing getaway. Located in the heart of the beautiful Lake District, the Low Wood Bay is the ideal hotel for exploring Windermere, Ambleside, Kendal and South Lakeland. This is their tagline.

The appearance of this hotel is splendid, especially from the lake it looks a tone of picturesque. Many travelers would surely want to stay at this hotel.

However, this hotel repeated the enlargement of the building, the inside of the hotel becomes like a maze. So the hotel guests from the foreign countries are sometimes lost.  As my room was in the deepest part of the hotel, it took almost ten minutes to the reception. Beside my room was an small attic.

The attic

The hotel employees are really nasty-nice. Surprisingly, this hotel is a four-star hotel. The hotel charges were surely rates of the four-star. I think that a B&B is much better than this hotel.

This hotel employees seem so politely insolent. I wonder what’s behind it. I find just the memory of the cheeky little miss at the front desk, recption clerk’s overly polite patronizing manner really offensive.

Mr. Thomas Gray who became friendly in this hotel said  “Such impertinent little miss increased these days. I am ashamed as a British. I will not come to this hotel in future.”

Here is the address and the phone number of Low Wood Bay Hotel Windermere. If you’d like to stay the hotel, please call.
