I walked about Hawkshead here and there and was tired. I got into the tea room and ordered a homemade cake and cream tea.
It is a pretty, diminutive eating spot with a traditional feel, low beams, wavey walls and tables that have old-fashioned table cloths.
I had the cake and tea slowly and left for the next destination Ambleside.
