Harkshead Cumbria, England

Hawkshead is a village and civil parish in the Cumbria. It is one of the main tourist destinations in the South Lakeland area. It is one of the prettiest villages in the Lake District, with many buildings dating from the 17th century. It has a lively community and a high pub to population ratio.

I walked about Hawkshead here and there and was tired. I got into the tea room and ordered a homemade cake and cream tea.
It is a pretty, diminutive eating spot with a traditional feel, low beams, wavey walls and tables that have old-fashioned table cloths.
I had the cake and tea slowly and left for the next destination Ambleside.
