The village lies on the Utrata River, 46 km west of Warsaw. Żelazowa Wola has a population of 65. It is known for its picturesque Masovian landscape, including numerous winding streams surrounded by willows and hills. In the quiet rural district, I really love this village. The village is also Known of the birthplace of pianist and composer Frédéric Chopin, and of violinist Henryk Szeryng.
The Birthplace of Frédéric Chopin Museum
I entered the museum.
Chopin was born and raised in this house.
The old piano, the house of Chopin, now is alive.
I enjoyed the small piano recital in this room. The pianist was a pretty young lady, 24- year-old “Joanna Rozewska.”
I left the birthplace of Chopin and entered the restaurant on the other side “Restaurant Polka”. I do not remember what I ate.
Heart of Frederick Chopin
The heart of Chopin was buried in Catholic Temple of the Holy Cros, Warsaw by his intention.
Warsaw my beloved capitol!
Even though enemy turned you into ruins
Satan force did not overcome you,
Because there is a god inside the hearts of your sons.
The ground soaked with blood of your children,
Your population exiled by the enemy
But the star of hope shines for you
Because you are devoted to the benevolent mother.
Days of terror and torture past away
Your people are returning from the exile
And not curses and groans they brings
But they offer heart and effort.
The streets will feel with the crowd
Life will flow broadly.
And again the towers of Holy Cross
Will rise up high into the sky.
And again inside Holy Cross Temple
Faithful people will pray
Please Lord, bless Warsaw the capital
And whole homeland.
